Navel Piercing

Navel piercing was regularly done by ancient Egyptian royalty. They are the most popular body piercing being done today.
Navel piercing is slow to heal. A redness, which is not a sign of infection, can persist for months. Only pronounced "Innies" should be pierced. "Outies" are not suitable for navel piercing.
The placement of the navel piercing is located 3/8" above the upper edge of the navel. The navel jewelry should hang vertically and seem to disappear into the navel opening.
Unless placed through sufficient tissue, this body piercing is slightly more prone to rejection than other body piercings.
